A cheap check/investigation is to check out a very popular fault on the Mondeo which is corrosion/break of the "purple" wire that runs from fan along chassis leg to EMC unit. Mar 2, 2013 · Fault - Engine does not start or crank: LED does not illuminate. PATS system fuses in foot well fuse box. Fit or renew as necessary. If alarm is fitted check whether LED functions for alarm: If OK go to FDS2000. If not OK check cigar lighter fuse (this also supplies power to LED). Fault - Engine does not start or crank: LED flashes rapidly.
Nov 7, 2018 · not sure if anyone has experienced this is issue but any info would be greatly appreciated, my mondeo mk 4 titanium x sport's dash has stoped working my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and engine temp has stopped but everything else works as it should including cruise control etc, there is no faults coming up either. Mar 20, 2021 · I retrofitted TPMS sensors to my Mondeo Mk4.5 and installed conversmod TPMS patch. Went for 40 km drive, after about 20 km display popped up a message saying TPMS sensors not detected. Carried on for another 20 km and no change. Convers display just shows _._ bar at each wheel position.

Aug 14, 2020 · isetta. If desperate to get it working you could do a work around and wire up the fan to a switch on the dashboard and switch it on and off manually when needed. Of course make sure switch and cable is of adequate amp rating with fuse (otherwise you could have a fire).

Speed counter, tachometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge (everything that moves mechanically) doesn't work. Disconnecting the battery doesn't help, the problems is in the meter.
